Viewing publications on Kindle Fire and Fire HD
Installing the App
Please note that because this App is not installed through the Appstore, you first need to allow 3rd party Apps on your device by going to Settings → More → Device and setting Allow Installation of Applications from unknown sources to On:
Download the SkinMagz Kindle App for your device:
Download App for Kindle Fire HD:
Download App for Kindle Fire (deprecated but available for download):
You will also need to allow the App to use your device's resources:
After the installation is complete all you need to do is run the App and log in with your SkinMagz.com credentials.
NOTE: If your device saves the downloaded App as a .zip file instead of an .apk file, please follow these aditional steps for App installation on Kindle Fire / Fire HD:
- Download and install the free "ES FileExplorer" App using the Kindle Appstore. The Appstore can be found from the home page.
- Tap Store at the top of the page.
- Search for ES File Explorer.
- Tap ES FileExplorer logo, tap Download or Free then Open.
- Find the Download folder, tap to open it.
- Find the downloaded zip file SkinMagz_Viewer.zip or SkinMagz2.zip.
- Long press the .zip file.
- Choose Rename from the menu.
- Rename the file from SkinMagz_Viewer.zip to SkinMagz_Viewer.apk.
- Tap OK. The logo will now change to a Skinamgz icon.
- Tap on the Skinmagz icon and choose Install.
